My Fascination with Restaurant Equipment

I admit it. I am totally fascinated with restaurant equipment. I guess I should have gone to culinary school so I could use all of those wonderful things on a daily basis.

I had to stop at the local restaurant supply store to pick up a box of the large paper coffee filters that they use in commercial coffee makers. I use them to filter the half gallon of cold brewed coffee I make every week. What can I say, we love coffee.

Every time I stop in, what should be a quick stop turns into an hour long visit. I love browsing through the professional cookware in particular. I have absolutely no use for it, but I so want one of those giant stock pots! And the huge woks are amazing! If I ever win the lottery the first thing I will buy will be a restaurant kitchen to play in. :)
