Setting Up an Office

I have a dear friend who is a physician and she had decided to make the move and open her own office. Of course, I have volunteered to help her in any way that I can. She has me helping her with the layout of each exam room.

I had no idea that there were so many different kinds of exam tables. I guess I never really paid any attention to them. They have tilt tables, treatment tables and even bariatric tables. Then there are the specialty ones like podiatry chairs. It takes a lot of money to equip a doctor's office.

Birthday Celebration

My husband's birthday was last week and we celebrated it in Mexico Beach. If you don't know it, MB is a quaint little town on the gulf coast of FL. There are only 1,500 permanent residents. The atmosphere is very laid back and casual, just like we like it. We ate tons of fresh oysters, grilled flounder that he caught on the beach and had an awesome time.

It's a Beauty Day

It's clouding up and doesn't look like a good beach day so we girls have decided on a beauty day. Or maybe we should call it a spa day. We started out talking about my sister's daughter and how the information on salicylic acid had helped her find a product that cleared up her skin. From there we moved on to our favorite spa treatments and that gave us the idea for a day of pampering. Time to run, my pedicure is calling me...

A Perfect Morning

I can't believe how perfect this morning has been. There's a gorgeous sun, a nice breeze and fluffy clouds. I got up, threw on some shorts, dabbed on some eye creams and headed outside to fix breakfast on the patio. We all love having breakfast alfresco when the opportunity presents itself. Now everyone is putting on swimsuits and getting ready to hit the beach. I hope you're having a great weekend as well!

Can you believe summer is almost over? Labor Day weekend is here and schools are back in session. The summer went by in a flash for me. We have family visiting for the weekend so it should be a busy one for us. We will be spending our time between the beach and the grill. I hope you have a great weekend and enjoy the holiday!
