I dug out a recipe that I used to prepare frequently when entertaining. It never failed to get comments so I have no idea why it got delegated to the back of the recipe book.
It is for a delish dip made with Italian canned tuna. The tuna is canned in olive oil and is very flavorful. It can usually be found in large supermarkets. If you can't find it, substitute a good tuna packed in oil.
Place 1 stick of softened salted butter, the can of drained tuna and 1 tablespoon of capers into a food processor. Process until smooth. Scrape into a bowl and chill. Serve with just about anything and watch it disappear.
